自驾是出游最佳方式，不过沿途要留意加油站，可以事先看一下哪家价格好，路途方便。因为在露易丝湖忘记加油了，往Jasper方向只有一家油站，结果87号油在别的地方都是1.4以下，在那里要2，贵死了，但又无可奈何。景区内的停车点最好也了解一下，有时候车速过快，这边说很美，那边就错过了停车区，如果随意靠边停，其实不太好（没有应急车道情况下），而且突然停车也会对后面车造成危险。
